Advice to FAmilies Dealing with Sarcoma
Dr. Paul Meyers: My advice to you is based on our philosophy. We approach every patient on the assumption that that person will be cured of their sarcoma. And you have to address everything that happens from the same philosophical standpoint, and that means that we are planning to restore your loved-one, you, back to a normal life. And so we try very hard to keep your life as normal as possible as you are going through this therapy, so that when the time comes that we say, "You're done," you have the ability to get back and resume your life the way it should have been.
