An ESUN Letter to the Editor

Steven A. Rosenberg, MD, PhD
Chief, Surgery Branch
National Cancer Institute

The Surgery Branch of the National Cancer Institute has developed a novel gene therapy/immunotherapy program for the treatment of patients with synovial cell sarcoma that has recurred after standard treatment.

This treatment involves the stimulation of the immune system to attack the cancer and has resulted in cancer remissions in patients that have not responded to other treatments.

Patients with synovial cell sarcoma can contact Dr. Steven A. Rosenberg at the National cancer Institute at the contact information below.
