We Need Your Help
Cycle Zydeco Once again we will be biking down in Louisiana as part of Cycle Zydeco. which will take place March 31-April 3, 2005. We currently have 18 people signed up to bike as "Team Sarcoma" on the bike tour. This will be our "2nd Annual Liddy Shriver Memorial Bike Tour". Members of Team Sarcoma bike to raise public awareness of sarcoma and the lack of young adults in clinical trials and to raise money for sarcoma research. We raised over $100,000 for sarcoma-related research in our previous bike tours. If you want to help us in our efforts, please consider forming a "local" Team Sarcoma to bike during March 30th—April 3rd when we will be biking in Louisiana. Cyclists on local Team Sarcoma bike wherever they happen to live and are called "Virtual Bike Tour Cyclists". Last year over 260 cyclists biked along with us worldwide as Virtual Bike Tour Cyclists to raise public awareness of sarcoma and the lack of young adults in clinical trials and to raise money for sarcoma research. They wore Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative armbands, handed out information sheets about sarcoma, appeared on local TV stations and had newspaper stories written about their efforts. We use bike tours to help achieve our goals because of Liddy. Liddy was an avid cyclist. Biking was an integral part of the way in which she approached her cancer. As her disease became increasingly serious, she decided to do some of the things that she had always wanted to do. Among the list of things was going on some multi-day bike tours. So, if you can't come to Louisiana:
